Post-Industrial-Recycling

Excess production material can be reused through post-industrial recycling. For example, edge trims can be reprocessed.

Post-industrial recycling essentially involves the regranulation (remelting) of unmixed, uncontaminated plastic waste.

With our solutions, you can handle this in-house - and benefit from many advantages:

  • We offer the construction of systems that are individually tailored to the recycling requirements of our customers

  • Recycling of production waste such as edge trim or sprues becomes possible

  • Greater efficiency and sustainability

  • Improved eco-balance

  • Rapid amortization of your investment

The recycling process can be performed inline: With inline processing, waste such as edge trim (bleed trim) or start-up rolls are fed directly back into the process - without intermediate storage or further processing steps.

Offline processing is necessary when material has to be prepared for the extrusion process - for example, cutting, shredding or grinding. Offline processes are also particularly useful for upcycling if the material is not only to be converted into a different form (granulate) (remelting). The addition of additives, colors, fillers and reinforcing materials as well as degassing processes can create added value.

Discover your options with us. Whether cost-efficient in-house recycling or upcycling - you can count on our process expertise. We will advise you on all aspects and find an economically and ecologically sensible solution.
